Homes with Heart is an organisation which passes on weeks in private holiday homes to families who really need a break — simply exchanging one person’s kindness for another’s well deserved rest.
Our partner charities can offer self-catered holiday breaks to their families, knowing that they are comfortable and well managed, without disturbing the other valuable work they do. Our homeowners know that we will look after their property and pass it on to a really deserving family.
I have spoken to some amazing people while setting up Homes with Heart. Clic Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, has been encouraging since the idea first sparked. Mark Thomas, of Orion Holidays, fed the fire with his generosity in sharing his experience of running a first class holiday company. Generous homeowners have contacted me to lend me their holiday homes, often because they have experienced tough times themselves and know the benefit of a good break.
Because of such kindnesses, Homes with Heart can help people forget treatments for a while and find some warm and happier memories.
